I'm disappointed that the stove does not have stainless steel on the sides that show, the cooktop got stained almost immediately and the recommended cleaner does not remove the stains. I will be calling in for a replacement top. Also, the burners take a long time to heat a pot of water.

30 in convection range

We love the oven and cooktop when they work. However, the electronic touch display has not worked properly, as the number 3 will not register and the oven light button is intermittent. It was maybe 10 days before we realized this, as we were remodeling the kitchen when we had the oven delivered. We went to use the convection oven and could not set the temperature! Called warranty service and it took them a week to come by, then another week for repair parts, and the technician did not show up for the scheduled date! The parts took longer to get, and then repair was delayed a day and the next day they cancelled. Still does not work and we have now had the oven over 5 weeks! For this amount of money, I think the oven should have been immediately replaced. Separately, when completing the kitchen had leaned over the oven controls finishing back-splash, and the front control knobs actually turned on when accidently leaned on them. This is a safety issue in my mind, as it actually happened very easily twice!

Happy with the stove but...........

Had a slide in stove with about 2 1/2 " of counter space behind the stove. Glass top over lapped the counter on left and right.This new stove was supposed to fit in but of course it sticks out in front 2 1/2 " too far. I was not told to have the counter piece behind the stove removed before installation. Also there is a gap on the left and right that can be corrected if I order and pay for the rubber strips to fill the sides. Painted dots on top of stove are half missing for one eye. Red light on front of stove to warn of hot surface should be on the stove top near the eye that has just been turned off.

I bought this a month ago and cannot believe how amazing this range is. I have used every thing on it to test all the controls. From bread proofing and steam baking, to convection baking -- it bakes bread and rolls perfect. Cakes bake perfectly. Roasts and casseroles are done perfectly and moist. Chicken is roasted or baked wonderfully moist and done to the bone. The oven is so easy to keep clean, just wipe it out with damp sponge when it cools down. The burners are just great. They keep a constant heat so nothing burns and pots never over heat. The glass top is easy to keep clean. Just wipe up splatters after it cools and it is a breeze to keep clean. It is truly the best range I have ever cooked on in the last 53 years.

Clean design that is easy to use.

So far, this fine unit is performing up to expectations. We are still learning about the details of operation as we go along. I did have to remove the lower drawer for cleaning beneath. That did not go well. Putting the drawer back in requires four hands and two screwdrivers. Not easy at all.

Defective product!

I bought this slide in range two years ago. From the start the oven seem defective. The temperature was always too hot and food was often burned unless we watched it carefully. As time went on the oven seem to become hotter and hotter until finally it became so hot every time we turned it on that it would shut itself off. The reason we didn't have this fixed sooner is that the range is located at a cabin and we don't have that many opportunities to bake. Eventually we had the range checked by a service technician unfortunately after the one year warranty had expired. We found out the computer controller was defective end it cost over $600 to replace it. We feel this product was defective from the start and we're sorry we didn't have it checked out while it was still under warranty. I recommend against buying this product. The aqua lift self-cleaning feature is also a big joke - Very disappointed with how it works.

Love my new Range!

Bought this Range (along with the matching dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave) and this piece has made the biggest difference in the look of our new kitchen. Love that it is a slide-in range - the old stove controls were at the back and ran up the wall which made them hard to reach and a little dangerous! Really enjoying the controls on the front and how easy it is to keep the cooktop clean - also like the burner that can be adjusted to the size of any pan. Shows off the new wall tile too! The oven bakes bread beautifully and holds the temperature very well. One of the reasons I bought this particular range was the drawer at the bottom. My kitchen does not have a lot of room for wide items. So along with the rack for the microwave and the steam rack for the oven I keep a big pizza pan and several wide baking sheets in the drawer. The drawer slides very easily as well as the 3 racks in the oven. We are very happy with our KitchenAid purchases.

Quieter convenction oven!!!!

I bought this range two months ago. LOVE it! So easy to use. Lights are really bright! Big opening to view items in the oven. Black top is a tad difficult to keep clean. I spend a lot of time on that. BUT the number one improvement is the fan for the convection oven is incredibly quieter than the KitchenAid i had ten years ago. HUGE improvement!

Love the convection feature

Love the convection feature of the range. Cooktop controls are very complicated (too complicated). Never given any instructions from the installers about the ceramic glass cooktop so of course the first time I used it I ruined it. They gave me dishwasher soap with the dishwasher but nothing for the ceramic glass cooktop.

Great Oven!

I love my oven however, keeping the top clean seems to be a trial at times. I use a cleaner similar to glass wax and sometimes it is still hard to come clean. Any suggestions? Thanks

Great features, but great faults too

I got this appliance when I bought my house. All kitchen appliances were KitchenAid. I had been told they were top of the line, but I soon discovered it was not the case. Within a year, the oven started beeping giving an error. I scheduled a repair and something was replaced. A few days later, the problem started again. The serviceman had come to check on the fridge and took care of the stove within the same call. A few months later, it failed again. They replaced the console and seemed to work fine for over a year, with a few caveats: an error would show up once in a while and started beeping, or the buttons to stop the oven - when accidentally started - on the control panel would not work (when it was not locked, and we started the oven accidentally while cleaning, we would stop it by setting a timer - timer work - of 10 minutes so it would stop automatically). One would think that these types of appliances would last more than three years. I am horribly disappointed with this brand and the quality of appliances, and extremely grateful that they do not have a line of washer and dryer because it would probably had been included in the house. It would be ok if one of the appliances failed, I would attribute it to chance, but within the first year, the stove, fridge, and microwave failed. I am sure the dishwasher did not fail because we do not use it. Now, the oven stops working after a few minutes of putting it on bake mode and I have to call in to have it repaired because it is not old enough to replace, but it is old enough for the warranty (original and from the repair) to have run its course. I do not recommend this product to anyone. In fact, I would say stay away from this brand.

Another troubled KA appliance

Had It 7/25/2019

We bought a full suite of KA appliances (stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher) when renovating our kitchen in summer 2016. I will hold my review to just the stove at this point but overall, all but the dishwasher (which we use very little) have had issues. As for the stove, the oven lights burned out w/in first month or two - and then again, last yr. Not a big deal but really?? The big issue now, just under 3 yrs of ownership is that the back left burner died. Service guy comes, assesses, orders part, comes back few weeks later to switch it out. He does that but it still didn't work. He determines it needs a new switch (internal not on stove front). Another 2 wks to get that. While waiting to hear that the part has arrived, the front left burner died this past weekend (the larger, 3 in 1 deal)! Our local service technician ordered it before coming out to the house so he can do both burners at the same time BUT guess what, it's on back order! They didn't know how far back but when I looked on KA site, it said till like mid August. Seriously?! This is unreal. Are they back ordered because so many of the KA cooktop burners have failed?? We wonder when the other 2 burners will die. We bought KA thinking we'd have quality products BUT we have been sadly mistaken.
