The dehumidifier works well, pulls the moisture out of the air and helps maintain the dry air at a good level. The auto shutoff is helpful to prevent the air from getting too dry. Nice unit!

I enjoy the quiet machine while its running. In addition, you can see it works efficient and immediately as the I see the water tank fill up with water. Its definitely what my basement needed.

This is (at least) my third Frigidaire dehumidifier. I continue to buy them because I've found that they last longer than other brands I have had over the years.This one is replacing a 2016 purchased 70 pint model of which I would have rated 5 stars. With recent re-rating of dehumidifier environmental specifications, I expect this one to provide the same moisture removing ability.Over the past 6 weeks it seems to perform well, meaning it's taking plenty of moisture out of my basement, as the 2016 purchased model.My 2016 model felt way more solid than this one. This case, casters, handle - all seem to be made much 'cheaper' even though I paid $50 more for this one. That "feel" caused me to remove 1 star from my rating.This does not have the large 'bucket full' light on the front, which I thought was a nice feature. It only has a small red light on the top.It does have a nice and useful water bucket level gauge the old model did not have. I do like that.All I can hope is the internals were not downgraded as the case, etc, and I get many years of service from his model.

Works great on my 1000sqft 70% humidity basement. Keeps it at a steady 50% in the laundry room, even when placed on the opposite end of the basement. It's very quiet too. I've been able to run on lowest setting, no issues keeping the humidity down.

This dehumidifier works well and is quiet (well, as quiet as a dehumidifier can be). I purchased the newer model because it uses the more efficient R-32 refrigerant. Nice design too! Our last Frigidaire dehumidifier lasted 8 years, hope this new one will last just as long.

Purchased this 50pt., July 2022. A month ago I came home to smelling a burning smell. The motor/fan was not running, but it was still on with a humming noise. When I unplugged it, it was hot to touch. Grateful I came home when I did, as it may have caught on fire! I called Frigidaire and they would not do anything since the warranty expired 2 months earlier!! I did all the quality checks™¦clean the filer, it was fine..etc™¦

We had the previous style unit for about 7 years. Still works but less effective. The unit was delivered with no issues. I moved it to the basement and started up quickly. So far, it seems to be a great unit. I have it working beside the old unit for now.

My complaint with this product is the poor bucket/handle design. In order to remove the bucket you have to precisely pull it out with your hands on the bottom of the bucket keeping it perfectly level. You cannot use the handle or rotate the handle because it slides out of the bracket on the right side and spills a lot of water. This has happened to me two times in the first week.I spent approximately 20 minutes explaining this to the customer service person and then spent another 20 minutes explaining it to a supposed supervisor. I have received four emails over three days with confusing (abbreviated,initials) return addresses which I thought might be either spam or phishing but opened them anyway and they discuss problems with shipping damage, which I never mentioned. Early on in my discussion with the customer service person, I explained that the retailer would not take the dehumidifier back and told me to contact the manufacturer. The final email I received, suggested that I should take it back to the retailer. if you have changed the design of the bucket or handle since my unit was manufactured, a replacement bucket would probably work. Also, the bucket fills so high that you can™™t possibly transport it from the dehumidifier to a sink without spilling water. It would be wonderful if somebody with some engineering or technical knowledge, read my review and gave me a meaningful response.

I was so thrilled to have the Frigidaire dehumidifier in my basement with the Fall rains that have lasted for weeks. The odor in my basement had changed and not because I had a water leak in it. However, it was musty and I knew something needed to be done. The ease of setting up the Frigidaire dehumidifier was great! I am extremely disappointed in your 50 pint dehumidifier. I have purchased your 50 pint dehumifiers twice and after 2 years they stop working. the bucket doesnt fill with water, even though filter is clean, unit shows its on & working , I have wasted too much on your product. this last one had frost build up so I turned it off for a couple days to let frost melt. but does not work.You need to send a technician to help me out on this. I am 74 year old lady and totally frustrated and very upset.

My unit started icing up at exactly the 2 year mark. This was a replacement for the one I originally purchased that had a different problem (error code). I had another identical unit that also started icing up after 2 years. I really resent that some manufacturers seem to be making things that fail in short time periods: "planned obsolescence." I need to by 2 humidifiers as well as a new range, and they will NOT be made by Frigidaire. Done with this brand.

Bought about 2 weeks ago. Easy to install, and is operating well. It's in my basement which run s about 60% in summer, I've got it set for 40% and it's keeping it there most of the time, but never higher than42%. I've got another Frigidaire about 5 years old in another basement room and it's been working this long.

This dehumidifier works great and certainly keeps our basement dry. It is our second Frigidaire dehumidifier and we™™ve been satisfied with both. The only complaint is the high level of water in the water collection tank, which turns off at a very high level and this makes it difficult remove the tank without spilling water.

Purchased a new dehumidifier directly from Frigidaire. It was delivered faster than my local big box stores. My old dehumidifier was very loud and an energy hog. This one is much quieter and uses much less electricity. I have already recommended this to some friends. Good product.

I have a large basement, my previous dehumidifier was not able to keep the basement humidity at a comfortable level. The fluorescent lights did not work. This dehumidifier has made such an improvement with both the humidity level and allowing the lights to work again.

This was a replacement dehumidifier for another brand that quit working. I purchased a Frigidaire because of ratings found online. I also wanted to buy from a local appliance dealer--not a big box store. It's working well, although the unit was shipped missing one of four caster wheels. Dealer says it's ordered, but that's been two weeks and not received yet. I have since purchase another Frigidaire 35 pint unit for another area of the home. That's working well and has all four casters.

I've gone through 4 Frigidaire 50 pint Dehumidifiers in the past 10 years. Most failed in a year or two with an error code. One was recalled. Some where covered by extended warranties (a good idea with this type of appliance). I hope this new model (5034 instead of 5033) is going to last longer. I doubt it, so I will definitely be getting an extended warranty.

This dehumidifier has successfully taken on the heat load that the AC unit was struggling to keep up with during a Florida summer. The only issue is that pouring out the water can be a bit difficult and ends up creating a dripping mess most of the time because there are multiple openings in the condensate bucket. But otherwise, I would highly recommend.

The unit works properly but I initially had trouble getting it to drain continuously. The hose drain connection is higher than the floor the unit rests on, which would seem to create a pitch for drainage. It does not. The unit has to be elevated(in my case 2 ft.) for the unit to properly drain. There is no where in the instructions indicating the unit needs to raised in order to properly drain. In my case this required the purchase of a suitable table (which cost $27.00) to get the unit to properly drain. The instruction manual should have indicated proper elevation was necessary to achieve continuous draining
